Halifaks Hotel

They are thieves working in disguise, don't even bother booking this place. Don't leave any valuable belongings they come into the room when your not their and steal your money/items/other belongings and then make an excuse ! The staff don't know what customer service is literally dealing with stuck up people. If you stay please place a hidden camera, so you have proof/evidence !!

This hotel was very good, it was located in a quiet area ( althogh the mosque was near, but Azan lasts only 1 minute and no more, so for me it was not problem at all), the room was pretty small but enough for 2 people, the room was warm enough also. In your room you have lockbox to put your valuable things, The staffs were so helpful and even you can check in earlier if your room is ready. The breakfast was good and they serves variant things ( so obviously you can not taste all of them in one day and you can have different things every day), the hotel was so near to bus stop and Metro station so you can access everywhere easily if you have/get istanbul card. The cleaning starts in the morning so yes, you hear the sound but you should be awake by that time if you want to use the hotel breakfast ( beacuse they are cleaning your room during that time) so I think it was kind of exaggeration in other comments , other houres I did not hear any sound even I had a zoom meeting in my room and I did not face any problem. On the check out day if you want to go out and you have plenty of time to go to the airport, they have place to take care of your staffs. I am thankful from all the hotel specially Mehmet abi for everything that he had done for us.

Important note We made reservation at this hotel on 11.Sep by WhatsApp as we know the staff before as guests,,, reservation was for 2 single room for 2 person for 4 night check in 27.Sep Confirmation for two single room was shared by hotel staff The hotel management didn't asked about any payment On 26.Sep the hotel sent a message through WhatsApp asking to confirm arrival time on 27.Sep We confirmed for hotel date reservation and our arrival On 27.Sep afternoon the hotel again asked to confirm reservation and We confirmed our arrival with exact and they reply with Ok At 17:00 PM we arrived at hotel but there was no available room as our request and as their confirmation They offered us 1 suite of two rooms but one shared bathroom for two guests This was not acceptable at all because of privacy and when we shared all suppot conversations and reservation documents they said we are sorry but we sold all rooms Is this logic that a hotel like this to give such excuse!!!!???? As Conclusion For sorry we take this suite under unacceptable reasonbecause we were too much tired Mr.Khalil who was aware of hotel mistake as manager but insist that he can't do anything for us even there was many available 2 suites and he was able to give us alternative rooms because it was hotel room but he ssis us, and was very uncomfortable with his answer with no reason for why they do this They could just send us an apologize message by WhatsApp and let us know the situation but they Didn't ,,, Very bad situation with no action and no respect to guests Will not book at this hotel again never ever and we shared this case to more than 15 person of our groups not to book again There are any other hotels in Istanbul that can be check No trust no tourism responsibly

It was a great stay, great location, cleanliness, homemade delicious breakfast, fantastic neighborhood, family friendly, walking distance to Osmanbay Metro Station, accessibility to many transportation options, affordable, and most important friendly, cooperative and polite staff, me and my family felt that we knew all them from before, many thanks for everyone, especially Mr. Amer, really we appreciate your great efforts, dedication, and hospitality, you are a great image for tourism in Turkey. I recommend this hotel to everyone who want to enjoy tourism in a great friendly environment.

Good value for the money , quite nice clean hotel with all necessary room facilities. Staff are very polite and friendly , receptionists very helpful especially Mr. Ammer . Breakfast is good . The place is good in quite street fee steps to very active area and walking distance to the metro and bus stations with good resurants and caffe around it . Thanks to everybody in this hotel . I stayed for 2 weeks and I think it will be alawys my choice in Turkey
